About Us
Burroughs Direct Mail has been at the front of Print Finishing in East Anglia since its conception in 1999. Opening with a 92cm guillotine and a Hunkeler Master Mailer we were the first in the region to offer gluing, perforating and folding as an in-line process.
The list of services provided had also grown. Two more folding machines have been added along with a second guillotine. A saddle-stitching machine, a perfect binding line with in line trimming and a miniature folding machine completes the recent purchases.

Die-cutting / Creasing
We have a Heidelberg Cylinder which enables us to produce pocket covers and folders. It can also crease heavier papers / boards or perform complex perforating which cannot be done on our Hunkeler mailer.
Folding
We have two folding machines which offers almost any fold combination. For section work we can fold anything from 4pp to a 32pp and have the ability to punch slots in the back of the section for burst binding.
Leaflet folding is versatile enough to produce gate-folds, double gate-folds, butterfly folds, multi-roll, concertina folds and map folds.
Miniture Folding
With eight folding plates in the first unit and four in the second we can fold most complex mini folding jobs down to a minimum of 20mm in size.
Hunkeler Master Mailer
We can apply re-moisten able glue, from a double thickness postcard or impact glue to make up wallets of integral envelopes or bangtailed mailers. We can also use this machine to glue sections or covers to enable automatic feeding on our saddle-stitcher / perfect binding lines for gate folded or throw-out covers or sections. Finally in this department we can apply peel-able glue dots to enable the finished product to be mailed with an envelope.
Saddle Stitching
We can produce anything from 100 mm square to A3. Projects with gate-folded, barn-door or throw-out covers or text sections can be accommodates. Flat capacity pockets are available. Loop stitching and endorse folding are also options.

Binding
A minimum size A6 (we can go smaller if produced 2 up) and a maximum size of 260 mm on the fore-edge we again have versatility to hand. Spine width can range from 3 mm to 3 5 mm and we can feed gate-folded or throw -out 6 pp or 8 pp cover. These products can all have a flush finish on the for-edge if required.
